Sonya Eddy is an actress and producer born in Concord, California on June 17, 1967. She graduated from UC Davis and began her acting career in the West Coast premiere of "Zora, Is My Name!" She has since gone on to appear in a variety of productions, including "The Crucible", "Pericles", and "Into The Woods". She has won an Arty Award for her portrayal of Bloody Mary in "South Pacific" and has had recurring roles on "ER", "Joan of Arcadia", "Seinfeld", and "The Drew Carey Show". She has also appeared in the Hallmark Movie of the Week "The Reading Room" opposite James Earl Jones, and has been a series regular on Martin Short's "Primetime Glick". Her recent roles include "Coach Carter", "Bad News Bears", "Barbershop", "Daddy Daycare", "Matchstick Men", and "Surviving Christmas". Sonya is also an accomplished Improv\Sketch artist, vocalist, and voice-over artist.
